Mr Rajendra Petkar is the President & Chief Technology Officer at Tata Motors. He drives vision & strategy for automotive technology development, besides being responsible for vehicle engineering & delivery. He has been leading a culture of innovation & frugal engineering at Tata Motors with an objective of delivering sustainable & differentiated products for customers

In his role as head of R&D, Mr Petkar has spearheaded the transformation of the product portfolio through multiple interventions like “New Forever” range of cars, “Future Ready” range of Commercial Vehicles, BS4 to BS6 emission transition, Connected Vehicle Platform, and leadership in occupant safety. He also key positions at various automotive & industry bodies like the Society of Indian Automotive Manufacturers (SIAM), National Automotive Board (NAB) & Confederation of Indian Industry (CII).

An alumnus of IIT Bombay, Mr Petkar enjoys travelling, reading and interaction with the youth of today.

MR ASIM KUMAR MUKHOPADHYAY

Mr. Asim Kumar Mukhopadhyay is a leader and an industry veteran who, in his career spanning more than 3 decades, has played a key role in executing the growth strategies of various companies in the automotive and steel industries. Currently, he is on the role of CEO and MD of TML Smart City Mobility Solutions Limited (A Wholly owned subsidiary of Tata Motors). Tata Motors Limited has incorporated a wholly owned subsidiary, viz., ‘TML Smart City Mobility Solutions Limited’ for undertaking urban mass mobility business interalia under an own, operate and maintain model, which intends to bring specific focus to its Electric Vehicles (“EV”) segment as a service offerings across its portfolio of commercial vehicles.

He started his career in 1983 in Steel Authority of India Ltd. (SAIL). He joined Tata Motors group in 2001 and was the Chief Financial Officer and Company Secretary of HV Axles Ltd., a wholly owned subsidiary of Tata Motors and held various positions in Tata Motors from 2005 including the position of Head- Group performance Management. He has since led various projects in India and overseas markets and has held Board positions as a Non-Executive Director and has served on Audit and other Committees of the Board of various Tata Group companies like TML Smart city Mobility solutions (J & K) Private Limited and Tata Motors CV Mobility Solutions Ltd. He is also the non- Executive Chairman of Tata Motors CV Mobility Solutions Ltd. He was also on the Board and Audit Committee of Tata Marcopolo Motors Ltd., Nita Company Ltd., Bangladesh, Tata Hitachi Construction Machinery Company Pvt.Ltd., Tata Daewoo Commercial Vehicle Company Limited, Tata Cummins Private Limited and TCPL Green Energy Solutions Private Limited.

He has a distinguished academic career. A post-graduate in Commerce from University of Calcutta, he holds Fellowship of the Institute of Cost Accountants of India, is an Associate member of The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India and of the Institute of the Company Secretaries of India. He is also a Fellow (Life Member) of Institute of Directors (IOD), India. He is a member on Sustainability Reporting Standard Board of Institute of Chartered Accountants of India

He had led Tata Motors Commercial Vehicles division to achieve exemplary rating in TCM by CII in 2012, 2015, 2019 & 2022 and has anchored the preparation of a case study on Tata Motors Ltd, the first ever case study of an Indian organization to be published in the ‘International Federation of Accountants’ (IFAC). Being associated with the South Asian Federation of Accountants (SAFA) since 1995, he has been a key presenter at the various international conferences organised by them.

He has been a recipient of numerous awards including the ‘Best CFO Award’ by ICAI in the Engineering and Capital Goods Sector (2016). He has also been conferred Doctorate of Excellence (Honoris Causa) by the Confederation of International Accreditation Commission, in partnership with University of Entrepreneurship and Technology, USA (2019) in the field of Finance management. The Institute of Cost Accountants of India also conferred upon him the Best CMA CFO Award 2019.

He is deeply passionate about the impact and influence of Cost and Finance Management on industry and is a member of national committee of Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) on Total Cost Management. He is also deeply passionate about people and works with several management institutes to inspire the future leaders.

MR ANAND SRINIVASAGOPALAN

Mr Anand S, is presently designated as Vice President & Business Head CV Passenger of Tata Motors Limited

Mr Anand has completed his BE in Mechanical Engineering from Madurai Kamraj University, Tamil Nadu and his MBA in Finance from Anna University, Tamil Nadu. He started his career with Greaves in 1996 and worked with multiple organization including New Holland Tractors India and TAFE before re-joining Tata Motors in 2020.

Mr Anand has varied experience, in the field of Sales & Marketing. During the span of his employment with Tata Motors Limited, he has worked on several high impact assignments, like CV Passenger and Trucks Business.
